Jaymie Parkkinen is an associate at Toberoff & Associates. His practice focuses on intellectual property and entertainment litigation matters.
Mr. Parkkinen received his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law in 2017, where he graduated in the top 3% of his class, receiving the Order of the Coif and earning the Karen Dorey Book Award and Masin Family Academic Excellence Awards in numerous law courses and subjects. He received his B.A. from California State University, Long Beach from which he graduated summa cum laude.
After law school, Mr. Parkkinen gained considerable experience in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout the Seventh, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits. Mr. Parkkinen also serves as an adjunct professor of law and teaches in the areas of Business Law, Legal Ethics, Torts, and Legal Research and Writing. He has authored and published a legal ethics textbook, Para-Legal Ethics.
For fun, Mr. Parkkinen enjoys performing improvisational comedy and theatre at Los Angeles venues.
Mr. Parkkinen is a member of the State Bar of California.
